PR PANGANDARAN - MBC Entertainment Awards 2020 disiarkan langsung pada tanggal Selasa, 29 Desember kemarin dengan dipandu Jun Hyun Moo, Jang Do Yeon, dan Ahn Bo Hyun sebagai MC.
Acara penghargaaan sendiri sudah digelar pada tahun 1990, tetapi dengan nama yang berbeda. Sebelum namanya berganti menjadi MBC Entertainment Award, acara ini khusus memberikan penghargaan pada komedian di Korea Selatan.
Untuk tahun ini, pembatasan dilakukan untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19, termasuk semua orang yang memakai masker, melakukan sosial distancing, partisi individu yang diatur di antara meja, dan piala ditempatkan di atas meja untuk diambil oleh pemenang demi mengurangi kontak tangan ke tangan.
Tahun ini, MBC Entertainment Awards menganugerahi penghargaan pada 23 kategori. Anugerah Utama atau Daesang tahun ini jatuh pada Yoo Jae Suk karena penampilannya di "How Do You Play?". Acara besutan Kim Tae Ho ini memyabet piala dalam enam kategori.
Salah satunya adalah Lee Hyo Ri. Meskipun ia tak datang seperti pemenang lain, ia tetap memberikan pidato dengan terlihat nyaris tanpa Make Up dan Gaun yang ia buat sendiri.
